Hey ho, hey ho, and up the hill we go

We walked the Tarmachan ridge on Saturday. Brilliant.
And now my Munro count is up to 2 - only a few to go, then.

Getting closer to the start of the ridge.
And getting exciting.

Glancing back at the very forbidding-looking ridge.
We've been on all those tops! But there's two more to climb...

Markku doing his obligatory pose on top of
the highest summit, Meall nan Tarmachan.
Views to die for. (Which we almost did.)

From the final top - you can't really see it, but in
the middle of the picture there is a tiny white speck. That's
the parking lot, with our car. It's all downhill from here!

As the latest Trail magazine put it -
You'll never reach the horizon.
If you remember one thing about this whole
illogical, impractical hill-walking lark, make it this:
the higher you get, the further you see.
And the further you see, the more places you have left to go.
Race ya.
