Quote of the day

"Motorized vehicles are ugly and dirty and they bring out the worst in people."
- Bill Bryson

Which reminds me. I don't manage to do this too often, but I proved myself right last week.
My old theory: Cars going fast are scary only on public roads, because there are other things around as well (cars, tractors, children, grannies, lotsa sheep).
Test: Markku was let loose on the Knockhill race track last week, and I got to be a passenger. It was fun, like being in a rollercoaster, and not at all scary (although I did feel a bit sick. And M was scared - for the car).
QED.

So non-motorised vehicles bring out the best in people? I think it's actually true.

We're going sailing over the weekend, another chance to test the theory!

Never thought of that, but true!

It is true! Five people were confined into just a few square meters for the whole weekend, and there were no petty arguments during the whole trip. I cannot remember when this happened on any overnight trip with my friends.
