How to get an engineer to cook

Claudia's Limoncello

1 lt pure alcohol (95% vol)
7 unwaxed lemons
1,5 lt water
500 gr sugar

Grate or peel the yellow rind of all the lemons, and let it soak into the alcohol in glass bottles for about 5 days. Mix the sugar with the water, stirring until there is no trace of the sugar crystals. Add the alcohol and stir well. Using a strainer and a funnel, pour the mixture in bottles. Leave in the freezer for about 4 weeks before serving.
