A pile of baby and mummy lions. Awwww.
Impressive how much the cubs can grow in just a couple of weeks! Last time they were scared of some cartboard boxes, and now I spotted one gnawing on an unidentifiable lump of animal and giving a proper, calculating eyeball to a screaming (human) kid.

We hung a huge fake-suede bedspread up as a curtain in the bedroom, and no cold chills woke me up even once last night (I even considered taking off one layer of clothing, but that seemed a bit rash). Result.
