Cultural differences

I finally dared to go and try the new Finnish sauna in the university gym.

Next to the giant poster giving detailed advice on how to use the sauna (Did you know you're not supposed to go in after exercising because your body temperature is too high? Handy that, in a gym), a new sign had been added: "Appropriate clothing must be worn in the sauna".

So, one girl came in in her t-shirt and shorts. Then she took them off, sat there quite happily in her panties and a towel, and after a while put her clothes back on and left.

But the sauna was actually quite nice! Just needs a bucket for throwing water - I used my water bottle, but it was a bit pathetic. And shame about the British showers.

Well, I've seen sauna's with a sign telling that you cannot throw water on the stones because the stove is electric.
