Listmania

Highlights of the past week:
The Ceilidh.
Not getting sick from the flu jab.
The Haunted Christmas Party.
Mamma's pizza the afternoon after.
Fazer's Christmas Calendar (thanks Mom!).
Pulling (on the telly, not in the parties).
Learning that there is an immensely popular sport called kabaddi: grown men playing tag while chanting kabaddi-kabaddi-kabaddi without breathing.
David Craig as Bond.
Being proud of my M.
The wonder that is Kelvingrove Museum: fibreglass Elvis, dinosaur poo, iridescently blue butterflies, floating heads, the building itself, and more amazing art than is in any way sensible, and then this one thing that needs to be on an another list entirely -

Things I'm extremely happy to have experienced before I die:
Dali's Christ of Saint John of the Cross.

And to maintain balance - lowlights:

Older men crossing the not-so-much-thin-but-more-like-blindingly-obvious line between compliments and creepiness.
Realizing that before holidays I have ten days and two essays, one exam, Christmas shopping, hillwalking, job-hunting, packing and gardening to do.
Insomnia.

This kabaddi thingy sounds almost as sensible as the good old ascetico.

Kabaddi people seemed to be sober though.

We weren't drunk either! At that point.
