I realised an ambition today: me and Sasha were genuine Ladies who Lunched in Morningside. The white chocolate and mascarpone cake was just as 'decadent' as the menu promised.
Next time, I might not even wear a hoodie.

I was reading my guide book at the beach today. Now I know where I'd take you should you be able to make the trip up here: high tea at the Empress Hotel in Victoria, British Columbia, where "mouthwatering scones, fresh berries in Devonshire cream and decadent pastries are all on the menu".
