Whodunnit

I’ve had one of those very small and mundane revelations, which can nevertheless lighten you up a whole lot. There’s a bit of a situation at my work, and since I’ve not exactly been in top form lately I’ve blamed myself for it. But then I started thinking (yes, always a good idea) and figured that, actually, even if I were Superwoman things would be in chaos. So I had a good moan with our HR person, and oh how lovely it was to hear someone else confirm that the situation is not my fault nor my responsibility. Now I just need to Fix It All.

Also, a blonde will never learn from certain mistakes. I decided to wear my new shoes today, and now have five plasters on my feet – before my 4 km walk home. They look lovely though (the shoes; the plasters a bit less so).

Again these UK words: nobody says plaster over here. Admittedly the US word is really stupid (band-aid, originally just a trademark), but still this is more like what I think of when somebody says plaster.

But did you actually mean that you have blisters on your feet?

What about the feet? ;-)

Eh...?

Yes, there were blisters under the plasters. And what about the feet?

Feet never look nice.
