Had a long walk yesterday - and it was sunny. Is it possible to get drunk on sunshine? Must be.
But according to the karma of this spectacularly crap winter, there had to be payback. Couldn't sleep last night because the storm was so noisy (seriously. Both the wind itself and all the stuff it flew about, including my bike and the bin in our normally very sheltered courtyard), and walkies today were more on the short side in the crazy wind, rain and snow. In fact, tonight's walkies just got redirected to a pub. Thank heavens for cosy pubs, and sensible rules about dogs!

Age is catching up on me. I tried to put a piece of quiche* into my teacup.
(*Italian tart with spinach and parmesan from Jamie at home. Most recommended.)
